A B&B set in a wonderful Villa art nouveau style, in a strategic location at short distance from the railway station and only few minutes away from the historical city centre of Venice. Hospitality, professionalism and charm, are the main qualities.
From a complete restoration of an ancient Villa in Liberty style is born now Villa Ricordi a pretty and charming Bed and Breakfast, located in a very good position, just 350 mt. from Venezia-mestre railway station.
In a very quiet residential area in the centre of Mestre and just 10 min. from Venice downtown, BB Villa Ricordi will be appreciated for its charming rooms, for family ambiance where house owners will be glad to feel guests as friends.
Our passion for travels and for friends suggest us to open this BB, dividing our house, our way of life, our Venetian life-style with guest staying at Villa Ricordi that became first of all our friends.
It’s available nearby a private and covered parking place where guests could leave the car and moving into Mestre and Venice by public transportation (train/bus/vaporetto).
Our rooms, in a family atmosphere but at the same time charming and refined, are fully equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning with private remote control, colour TV and safe. The house was completely rebuilt on june 2007 and rooms are all new, where refined TENDAGGI damasco into a charme of an ancient villa feel guests into a Venetian life-style.
Breakfast in the morning will be a little large buffet and will be with coffee, milk, tea, cereals, bread, etc …and will be served from 07:30 to 09:30 am.

By car: After A4 Mestre-Venezia exit continue staying on the right. At the circle (after 500mt) follow sign to Venezia-Mestre stazione FS (railway station). Follow the road (free higway) for 4 km until traffic light. At the traffic light turn left and continue for 200 mt. At the traffic light turn left and continue for 400 mt. At the traffic light turn right, continue for 250 mt and turn the firs street on your left (via sernaglia). B&B Villa Ricordi is the Yellow Villa immediately on your left.
By bus or train: To arrive in Venice is very easy, by public bus, available every 10 min 24 h or by train, every 10 min. all day long. Bus stop is just in front of Villa Ricordi, while train station is just 5 min walk (350 mt) . From Mestre railway station trains leave every 10 min. to Venice Santa Lucia from 05:00 in the morning to 01:00 in the night. Bus from and to Venice are available 24 H.

Villa Ricordi We are so happy that we chose to stay in Mestre instead of Venice itself, it makes a better value for money. It easy to get to Venice by train from the Villa Ricordi. Good italian breakfast. Reception staff were all very attentive and professional.

Villa Ricordi We arrived very early in the morning, we left the luggage and went to Venice by bus. Rooms were clean and quiet. All staff were courteous and gave us many useful information.

Villa Ricordi Monica is a wonderful host, strongly recommend if you are interested in a convenient location to Venice where you can park the car on the street for six Eurio's and take a very convenient bus to Venice which comes by every ten minutes! The airport is only twenty minutes or so as well. The immediate neighborhood has a local Restaurant which your host recommends and is worth a visit. Almost forgot wonderful breakfast and price of 60 Euro's per night is very reasonable. We are planning to return for another night before we return home.

Villa Ricordi Monica and Fabiano were are the nicest people and so kind and helpful they are worth going to stay there in and of themsleves. We love being there and it was easy to get in to Venice. Great place to stay

Villa Ricordi The place was very good and didnt make us miss staying in proper venice. The ambience and cleanliness was very good and I would definitely stay there again.

Villa Ricordi Room advertised as 4 person room was not big enough for 4 adults. Apart from that everything was good.

Villa Ricordi I was delighted by the staff and the condition of the hotel, just superb. And VERY convenient for bus service to the airport and to Venice. However as a single traveller, did not feel comfortable in this part of Italy at night so it restricted my movements somewhat. Also the area is a mess of construction and Mestre in general has not much to recommend it from what I saw.

Villa Ricordi I had a few concerns about the security in the area when coming from Venice during the night; the people in the streets did seem a little suspect to me; for the rest, everything was absolutely great - the rooms and the cleanliness and especially the host - extremely kind and proactive and giving us really useful information.

Villa Ricordi Excellent value, close to the railway station and bus stop to Venice (15 mins. away), a great alternative to staying in an overly priced hotel in Venice. The management is very friendly and accommodating; our room was nice and clean with a hard bed; very nice breakfast included; on the other hand, the TV was rather small and no international channels, and the shower (not tub) was quite small. Very nice indeed, but not luxurious.

Villa Ricordi A little more protein (cheese or an egg) would have been nice for breakfast. I was unable to coordinate the written instructions on how to get to the hotel with the map provided, and ended up asking my way (which was quite easy).

Villa Ricordi Positive: Very friendly young owners. Beautifull new and big rooms. Location very good (close to train station, bus. Quite. To improve: Small breakfast room. Just parking for 1 car. Other cars have to park outside gate which costs 8 Euro/day.

Villa Ricordi A quaint lttle B&B close to the train station in Mestre. A young and sympathetic couple run this cute little house and they are as friendly as can be. This is a fantastic place to travel into Venezia. We eould highly recommend this for other travelers.

Villa Ricordi Other than the size of the room which was on the smaller side, everything was impeccable- location, cleanliness and atmosphere. The owner Felipe in particular is fantastic- very warm and friendly and made us feel welcome and at home immediately. We enjoyed our stay at Villa Ricordi very much!

Villa Ricordi Very clean and friendly B&B very close to the bus and train station in Mestre. Great bus connection with Venice (10 min with the bus for 1€). Overall a very reasonable price, good solution if you want to se Venice with a limited budget...

Villa Ricordi Everything was very clean, very kind and helpful stuff, good breakfest, a very friendly atmosphere - the only problem: They don't accept any kind of credit cards! So don't forget to bring the money for the room in cash - or you risk to pay high fees at a foreign ATM (like we did).
