Kalaonda Plemmirio Hotel is located at the entrance of the Plemmirio Sea Reserve, only 9 Km. south of Siracusa. It is the result of a masterly and accurate restoration of an ancient complex of buidings. The period of its original construction dates back to the end of the nineteenth century, when, for rural purposes, it was the lodging for landowners and farmers who ranned and worked in the surrounding land.

The hotel is, in fact, just at a few kilometres far from the island of Ortigia historic centre of Siracusa, and from its suggestive Greek Theatre.
