Hotel Monopole Hotel was very central in that it was across the road from the Central Station and as we travelled out of Milan several times by train that was very convenient. It is only an hour by train to Lake Como and 1.5 hrs to Domodossola, the start of the Simplon Pass into Switzerland. Breakfast was very good every day and all of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was spacious and we were satisfied with the price.

Hotel Monopole The hotel is easy to find and close to the railway station, the desk staff are friendly and efficient, breakfast is fine. The hotel is what you would expect for this sort of location and price. While my single room was on the small side, and the only two channels in English on the TV were CNN and BBC News, I still think it was reasonable value for money for a large European city.

Hotel Monopole The location is very convenient to the train station and easy to find. The staff was very helpful, and the rooms, though small and spare, were very clean and the bathroom was surprisingly roomy with a good sized shower for an inexpensive European hotel. For a quick overnight stay, this hotel was just fine.

Hotel Monopole The Monopole is located at easy reach from the railway station. Bright and comfortable room. I spend very little time in my room as i was travelling for work but i really enjoyed my stay there.
