Hotel Lo Scoiattolo is a modern construction located in a panoramic hilly zone at 400 mt above sea level plunged in the green and relaxing hills of Vergante. The strategic position of the hotel is fit for all those who want to take a holiday on the " most beautiful lake of Italy "; an opportunity to see undisputed beauties and discover thousands of colours. The building is located in a peaceful position and is fit both for summer and winter holidays thanks to its mild weather. It has a private park with a wonderful view over the Lake Maggiore. Private indoor parking that can also be used by buses.
Easily reachable from the A26 motorway, at 5 km from the exit of Carpugnino, it is particularly appropriate for representatives and businessmen. OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND.

The hotel offers a buffet breakfast and meals with different menus.
In the town, there is the monument of the umbrella maker in memory of the old artisans who, between 1800 and the first half of the nineteenth century, spread out all over Italy practising their craft. The Castle of Visconti is particularly interesting as well as the monastery of Benedictine monks and the characteristic leaning bell tower of the church of Saint Michael.

Hotel Lo Scoiattolo Vom Hotel aus geniesst man eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore, unser Zimmer war gross, sauber und gut ausgestattet, wir haben im Restaurant sehr gut gegessen, einziger MInuspunkt war der Automatenkaffee beim Frühstück,

Hotel Lo Scoiattolo Das Hotel selbst ist empfehlenswert. Empfangspersonal, Zimmer und Sauberkeit lassen nichts zu wuenschen uebrig. Die Lage des Hotels ist zutreffend beschrieben, mit Durchfragen war es leicht zu finden. Ein angenehmer Aufenthalt Mitte Oktober, zumal auf einen einzigen Hinweis hin geheizt wurde.
Hotel Lo Scoiattolo Die Bewertung bei 'Gebotene Dienste' bezieht sich einzig und alleine auf das sogenante 'Fruehstüueksbuffet'. Eine Woche lang die gleiche Wurst, den gleichen Kaese, das gleiche Weissbrot. Keine Eier oder sonst etwas, was Abwechselung geboten haette. Nur jede Menge suesse Plaetzchen... von frischem Obst keine Spur... Dringend zu empfehlen ist, sich vorher mit loeslichem Kaffe einzudecken, der angebotene Kaffee: kein Kommentar...

Hotel Lo Scoiattolo mit dem hotel waren wir sehr zufrieden, obwohl der frühstücks-kaffee leider ungeniessbar war, werden wir bei gelegenheit wieder ein zimmer buchen. vielleicht gibt es bis dann den wirklich feinen italienischen kaffee anstelle der automatenbrühe.
