The Hotel Galata welcomes its guests in a charming and personalized decor all year round. We are situated only minutes walk from the railway station “Piazza Principe” and the Passenger Terminals of Genoa Harbour.
The Hotel Galata holds a really enviable position in the very centre of the old town within easy walking distance of all the main attractions in Genoa. This makes us the ideal base for passenger on a cruise or travellers, for business men or tourist willing to discover the unexpected surprises of a beautiful town.
There are 19 individually-decorated and confortable rooms. All rooms equipped with telephone, colour Tv, air conditionin syste, minibar, hairdryer and interne access.

Hotel Galata We booked mainly for the proximity to the acquarium. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of food. We would stay at the Galata hotel with no hesitation.

Hotel Galata The hotel is situated just a few steps away from the station and the city centre. Room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Hotel Galata Very near the station and yet quite peaceful. I arrived late and had to leave very early the next day on another train. Everything was fine - the guy at the desk could not possibly have been kinder or more accommodating, specially making me espresso in the morning and pleased that the croissants had arrived in time for me.

Hotel Galata Did not live up to my expectations of a 3* hotel in Italy. Limited breakfast items, inadequate cleaning of rooms, uncommunicative reception staff.

Hotel Galata The only bad thing was that it was hard to find. With all the construction going on around the train station, and the streets having street signs, it was very difficult to find the hotel. The sign in the front of the hotel was not very easy to see from a distance. Other than that, I had a great time there.

Hotel Galata Molto vicino al porto e alla stazione, ideale per chi non conosce bene Genova. Camera semplice ma ben curata. La colazione era buona e con un ottimo assortimento. Lo consiglio a tutti.

Hotel Galata Nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une chambre au sous-sole avec une vue chez les voisins à 2m avec Petit déjeuner rationné ! Mauvaise expérience !

Hotel Galata ich habe das Hotel gebucht, weil ich in der Nähe vom Bahnhof sein wollte, obwohl die Gegend nicht so berauschend ist. Es entsprach der Internet-Beschreibung

Hotel Galata Nah am Bahnhof aber nicht so leicht zu finden, wir hatten da einige Schwierigkeiten wgn der schlechten Beschilderung. Mit dem Hotel an sich waren wir im großenund ganzem zufrieden

Hotel Galata Das Frühstück war sehr "italienisch", für den deutschen Geschmack zu süß. Keine Wurst, kein Käse (nur eingepackter Schmierkäse), viel Kuchen usw, aber steinharte Minibrötchen.
