In the midst of the characteristic and fascinating reality of the historic centre of Naples, stands the elegant and refined structure of the Hotel Del Real Orto Botanico, originating from an ancient building of the seventeenth century.
Its strategic position induces guests to wonder around the multiple cultural itineraries accessible on foot - for instance, the National Archaeological Museum is only 600 mts away; Via Duomo, barely 400 mts away, is a fundamental crossroad leading to the Decumans and historic Naples. Being so close to the main means of transport, 600 mts from the underground, 1Km from the central train station and 1.5 kms from Capodichino Airport, makes the Hotel del Real Orto Botanico an ideal landmark for tourists as well as for businessmen.
In our hotel there are 36 rooms, with private bathrooms, colour TV sat, hairdryer, safe, pc- line direct phone and air condition, and all you need to make more comfortable and interesting your stay in our hotel. 4 suite with living TV room 12 family rooms (up to 4 persons) 4 rooms for disabled people and 8 single rooms. Many of our rooms overlook on Real Orto Botanico, beautiful garden build by "Borbone dynasty". It's today the seat of one of the most famous Botanic Universities.

From the port: you can take bus 201 in Castello square that stop in Foria Street in front of our hotel. Distant 2,5 km.
From the Central Station (Garibaldi square): you can take bus 201 bus stop Orto Botanic. The distance is 1 km.
From the Capodichino Airport: you can take the Bus (number 3 s or 14) or youcan take a Taxi asking fixes rate about 15 euro. The distance is 1,5 km.

Hotel Del Real Orto Botanico We were only staying for one night and it suited our purposes. The traffic noise is unbelievable and requires extra double glazed shutters which I'm sure will be very unpleasant during the heat of the summer but was fine for us. Its a realistic walk to the train station and a short taxi ride to the airport. The reception rooms were interesting. Breakfast was good and served in a lovely room.

Hotel Del Real Orto Botanico Perhaps the most disturbing part of the experience was when we asked the desk clerk to tell us the average taxi fare to the airport. At first he ignored us, then I asked again and he told us 12 Euro. His partner immediately started deriding him (in Italian, which my wife understands), telling him he shouldn't have told us that.

Hotel Del Real Orto Botanico Excellent hotel, very pleased. Great room, great deal. A bit out of the way, however, on a rather busy and hectic avenue. But this was the only drawback.

Hotel Del Real Orto Botanico There is no restaurant even though it is signposted in hotel. The bathroom was not cleaned very well. Air conditioning very noisy.

Hotel Del Real Orto Botanico E' senz'altro in una posizione centrale ma purtroppo la zona non è sicura. Ho scelto di non mettere la macchina in garage convenzionato, in quanto mi sembrava una enormità la spesa: € 15,00 a notte. Il risultato però è stato sgradito, perchè il mattino della partenza mi sono ritrovato il vetro del passeggero rotto, anzi disintegrato. Tutto ciò per asportare l'autoradio.

Hotel Del Real Orto Botanico Hôtel situé à 15 minutes du centre-ville. La chambre était spacieuse et propre. Bon petit déjeuner et personnel très sympathique.

Hotel Del Real Orto Botanico D'après la description online j'avais compris que les chambres donnaient directement sur le jardin botanique!Or la via Foria qui sépare l'hôtel du jardin est très bruyante, d'où mon choix. Attention aux déceptions par rapport à l'espérance de calme. Il se trouve que j'ai oublié un trousseau de clés dans la chambre:avec beaucoup d'amabilité, ces clés m'ont été renvoyées par la poste.Je vous prie de remercier particulièrement Antonio Lago.

Hotel Del Real Orto Botanico Ich würde das Hotel nur mit Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen! Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, das sehr dunkel und eng war. Da die Aircondition nicht funktionierte, schlief ich bei weit geöffnetem Fenster, das ich tagsüber gegen die Hitze natürlich geschlossen hielt. Wegen des offenen Fensters war die Unterkunft leider sehr laut: bis spät in die Nacht Straßenlärm, ab 6 Uhr früh Fluglärm! Frühstück und Reinigung waren in Ordnung, auch die Hotelangestellten im Allgemeinen sehr angenehm. Nur das Verhalten und die Höflichkeit der Rezeptionisten ließ zu wünschen übrig, und zwar sowohl des früh wie des nachmittags Diensthabenden: sie waren wenig hilfsbereit, führten seelenruhig mehrere Telefonate anstatt einem lediglich den Zimmerschlüssel auszuhändigen und ließen einen grundsätzlich gerne warten!
