B&b San Jouan Roma

We are located in the heart of Rome, just a short walk from remains of Ancient Rome the Coliseum and Basilica di San Giovanni. A marvellous ten minute walk will take you to all of the main historical, cultural and entertainment attractions.

We welcome you in an independent structure, completely reformed, in the interior of a courtyard surrounded by buildings full of ancient and present history. Its ambient is well designed and bright, while its spaces and its furniture are arranged in all the details to create a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

Very close to the metro station and different bus stops, located in a peaceful street, isolated from the traffic, we welcome you in an independent structure, completely reformed, in the interior of a courtyard surrounded by buildings full of ancient and present history. Its ambient is well designed and bright, while its spaces and its furniture are arranged in all the details to create a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. For the guest there are 5 rooms with en suite bathroom and one suite, all around to a cosy and warm winter garden where it is possible to read, talk and connect to internet.

All the rooms are spacious and quiet, with comfortable beds, the warm and luxurious decoration thanks to the outstanding use of wood and stone. Each room has private en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Each room is provided with air conditioning, Satellite TV, Cable TV, direct line telephone, Internet wireless connection, DVD player, refrigerator, safety-deposit box.

The suite, bigger than the others rooms, apart from the normal facilities (air conditioning, Satellite TV, DVD player, refrigerator, safety deposit, Cable TV, shower and hairdryer) have a small, but kind en suite garden.

From Termini Station: The San Jouan is far less than 2 Km. from the Termini station.

With the Public Transport: In Termini station take the underground line "A" direction to Anagnina. Get off, after two stops, at Manzoni Stop. You are 300m away from the San Jouan. Go out taking the exit for via Tasso/Viale Manzoni, continue straight forward Viale Manzoni just 50m and turn left towards via Tasso. Then walk 200m and turn right towards via Francesco Berni until number 7. There we are.

From Fiumicino Airport:

• With the public transport: Take the train (linea Leonardo) to Termini station. In Termini station take the underground line "A" direction to Anagnina. Get off, after two stops, at Manzoni Stop. You are 300m away from the San Jouan. Go out taking the exit for via Tasso/Viale Manzoni, continue straight forward Viale Manzoni just 50m and turn left towards Via Tasso. Then walk 200m and turn right towards via Francesco Berni until number 7. There we are.
• By taxi: It is possible to catch a taxi to the exit of the airport (there are many available). As alternative it is possible to book a pick up service, all we need is your flight details and a driver will greet you with a signboard showing your name. (The price of this service is of 55,00 €).

From Ciampino Airport

• By train: Take the bus Cotral outside of the corridors of the arrivals for the rail station of Ciampino. From the rail station there are trains to Termini station about every 15 minutes. In Termini station take the underground line "A" direction to Anagnina. Get off, after two stops, at Manzoni Stop. You are 300m away from the San Jouan. Go out taking the exit for via Tasso/Viale Manzoni, continue straight forward Viale Manzoni just 50m and turn left towards Via Tasso. Then walk 200m and turn right towards via Francesco Berni until number 7. There we are.
• By Bus SITBUSSHUTTLE: Take the bus SITBUSSHUTTLE of the Ciampino airport in the stop close to the arrivals; the shuttle is available every day with departure every 30 minutes from 8.30 am to 10.30 o’ clock to the Termini station. In Termini station take the underground line “A” direction to Anagnina. Get off, after two stops, at Manzoni Stop. You are 300m away from the San Jouan. Go out taking the exit for via Tasso/Viale Manzoni, continue straight forward Viale Manzoni just 50m and turn left towards Via Tasso. Then walk 200m and turn right towards via Francesco Berni until number 7. There we are.
• By underground: Catch the bus Cotral outside of the corridors of the arrival for the stop of the underground “Line A” until Anagnina. From there take the metro until Manzoni Stop. You are 300m away from the San Jouan. Go out taking the exit for via Tasso/Viale Manzoni, continue straight forward Viale Manzoni just 50m and turn left towards via Tasso. Then walk 200m and turn right towards via Francesco Berni until number 7. There we are.

By car: From the Grande Raccordo Anulare (G.R.A), attainable from all the freeways, follow the address Roma Est – Roma Tangenziale Est, catch the exit EUR – San Giovanni continuing for near 2km. Catch Viale Castrense and after about 300m. turn to the left for Via San Severo, then to the right for Via La Spezia, continue for Largo Brindisi, turn to the right in Piazzale Appio, maintain to the left Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano for near 300m., turn to the right for Via Merulana, after 300m. turn to the right for  Viale Manzoni, after 100m. turn to the right for Matteo Boiardo, continue for 200m. and turn to the left on Via Francesco Berni. After less than 50m. to the right you will find at the n° 7 the San Jouan.

Underground Timetable Line A: from 5.30am to 23.30pm, except Friday and Saturday evening when closing time is at 1:30am.
